When you want someone in your corner at the bank
Everything on Farm CFO is free and yours to use with any bank or broker. If you'd rather have the bank pack prepared for you, or the loan arranged, this is where that work happens.
Do it yourself first
Most of what a bank asks for at a review can be put together with the free document checklists, the cashflow forecaster and the bank ratio check. The guide to getting ready for the bank review walks through it in order.
Levelhead Business Advisors
Levelhead Business Advisors prepares farm cashflows, bank review packs and credit papers, and arranges business, land, equipment and working capital finance. It is run by Nick Clunes through Levelhead Capital Pty Ltd, the same company that publishes Farm CFO. Nick spent more than 8 years in banking and commercial finance, so he knows what a credit team looks for.
- Advisory fees are agreed in writing before any work starts.
- When a loan is arranged, the lender pays a commission. It is disclosed in writing, with the credit guide, before you go ahead.
- You don't have to use it. The free tools and templates here work with any lender or broker.
- It doesn't offer livestock finance. For stock, try stock agents and lenders that do, such as Elders Finance. Farm CFO gets no referral fee for that.
If the business is under financial pressure
Call the Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW first on 1800 319 458. It is free, independent and confidential, and it can help you prepare for the bank and look at support such as RIC loans. Other states have their own RFCS. Drought and hardship support lists the options.
General information only, not credit or financial product advice. Farm CFO's free resources don't include credit assistance. Finance is arranged through The Lending Lab Pty Ltd (ACN 651 936 337), Credit Representative 538291. Nicholas Clunes is Credit Representative 530711. Both are authorised under Australian Credit Licence 387856. Finance is subject to lender criteria. See disclosures.
