Who we are

Farm CFO is run by Levelhead Capital Pty Ltd (ABN 15 703 134 918) trading as Farm CFO Australia and Clunes Rural. The same company trades as Levelhead Business Advisors. The principal of both is Nick Clunes.

What Farm CFO provides

Management accounting, budgets, cashflow forecasts, financial analysis and the preparation of information for lenders, for farm businesses. The information on this website is general and doesn't take account of your circumstances.

What Farm CFO doesn't provide

Farm CFO isn't a registered tax agent or BAS agent. We don't prepare or lodge tax returns or BAS, or give tax advice. We don't hold an Australian financial services licence and don't give advice about financial products such as farm management deposits, insurance or investments. Farm CFO's fees don't include credit assistance.

How Farm CFO is paid

By the fixed fees shown on this website, plus GST, confirmed in writing before any work starts. Project work is quoted. Travel outside our regular visits is charged at cost and quoted first.

Finance and commissions

If you choose to arrange finance through Levelhead Business Advisors, that is a separate engagement. Finance is arranged through The Lending Lab Pty Ltd (ACN 651 936 337), Credit Representative 538291. Nicholas Clunes is Credit Representative 530711. Both are authorised under Australian Credit Licence 387856. The lender pays a commission, which is disclosed to you in writing, with the licensee's credit guide, before you proceed. You are never required to arrange finance through us, and the budgets and packs we prepare are yours to take to any lender or broker. Finance is subject to lender criteria.

Livestock finance referrals

Levelhead Business Advisors and The Lending Lab Pty Ltd don't offer livestock finance. If you need it, we may suggest stock agents and lenders that do, such as Elders. We receive no referral fee or other payment for these referrals, and you should compare offers and read the provider's terms.

Lenders' decisions

Budgets, forecasts and packs are prepared from information you provide and on stated assumptions. A lender makes its own assessment and decision, and no outcome is promised.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything, ring 0412 759 847 or email nick@farmcfo.com.au. We'll acknowledge your complaint within one business day and aim to resolve it within 30 days. Making a complaint is free.

If your complaint is about credit assistance and it isn't resolved to your satisfaction within 30 days, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), which is free and independent: www.afca.org.au, 1800 931 678, info@afca.org.au, or GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001. Time limits may apply, so act promptly.
