Season stress test
Start from your forecast in the cashflow forecaster, or the example. Move the sliders to cut sale prices, lift costs, delay sales and raise interest rates. The test shows the lowest balance and the months over the limit before and after, side by side on one chart.
Your figures stay in this browser. Nothing is sent to Farm CFO or anyone else.

The working
- Each receipt line is multiplied by (1 + price change %). Each operating cost line is multiplied by (1 + cost change %). Loan principal, drawings and capital purchases are left as they are.
- Delayed sales move every receipt the chosen number of months later. Receipts pushed past June are shown as falling outside the year.
- Extra interest each month = interest-bearing debt x rate rise / 12.
- GST and BAS are worked out again on the changed figures, the same way as in the forecaster.

Questions
What test does the bank run?
Credit teams usually test the cashflow with lower prices or production and a higher interest rate, to see whether the business can still service its debt. The exact tests vary by lender, so ask yours what it uses.
Why delay sales rather than cut them?
A dry season or a weak market often means holding stock longer, not losing the sale entirely. The cash lands later while the costs keep coming, and that's when the overdraft is stretched.
Is my forecast sent anywhere?
No. The test reads the forecast saved in your own browser by the forecaster and keeps everything on your device.
